A Trump fan has been arrested for pepper-spraying a transgender person at an anti-hate rally.

Morris May, a supporter of the alt-right, has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

The 22-year-old was going to the Stand Against Hate rally in New Jersey when he stopped at a sign-making event for the protest, organised in response to the deadly neo-Nazi Charlottesville march.

This was where May got into an argument with trans person Allie Koralik, 34.

An Upstate New York woman has been charged with murder in a domestic incident near Rochester.

WHEC reports Doris Carrasquillo, 40, has been arrested and charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of 28-year-old Kashmire Redd. Police say they were in a relationship and shared an apartment in Gates.

Police say Redd, who identified as a transgender man, was stabbed several times in the upper body inside their home at Crerand Commons around 4:30 a.m. Sunday. He ran outside for help and collapsed on the front lawn.

On Tuesday, Spelman College president Mary Schmidt Campbell announced that, starting next year, the all-women school would admit all students who “consistently live and self-identify as women, regardless of their gender assignment at birth.”

The change was announced in a a letter to students, faculty and staff sent from the HBCU after a task force of alumnae, students, and staff looked into the possibility of changing the policy, according to Campbell.

On Tuesday morning, the 20th known transgender person was murdered in the United States this year. Police found Derricka Banner, 26, a trans woman of color, shot to death in a car around 3 am in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Montavious Sanchez Berry, 18, was arrested and charged with murder, armed robbery, and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

This is Charlotte’s 64th homicide of 2017 and the 20th transgender person killed. The 17th trans person was killed less than a month ago, showing the frequency and increased crime rate.

NEWARK — Fourteen-year-old Kylie Perez never saw it coming — as she was blindsided with a flurry of punches and kicks from at least four fellow students at a high school in Newark Friday.

“And the girl was like, ‘oh, there’s the tranny! Two punches, like right here, and i fell. And when i feel, I felt like everybody was coming towards me. Everybody,” said Kylie.

Kylie, who is transgender, and her mother, Lillian Richards, say bullies have made school life difficult for the last several years.

The details of a transgender teen’s gruesome killing have shocked a Missouri community and sparked speculation that it was a hate crime. The victim had come out earlier this year.

Ally Steinfeld, 17, was stabbed and her mutilated body was burned earlier this month at a residence in Cabool, Mo., in the Ozarks, police say. Three people have been charged with murder. One other faces less severe charges.
