CLEVELAND-- A local family is looking for answers after a transgender woman was found dead in a driveway on Cleveland's east side.
The body of Brandi Bledsoe, 32, was discovered on Drexel Avenue near East 108th Street around 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Cleveland police said the victim suffered head trauma and ruled the death a suspected homicide.
Family members, who know the victim as Brandi and Brandon, are remembering her.

Keke Collier, a 24-year-old woman, was fatally shot in Englewood Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

A transgender woman was shot dead Saturday night (Feb. 25) outside a shopping center in New Orleans East, according to a relative who identified the victim as Chyna Doll Dupree.
Police said the victim was found shot several times in the 4300 block of Downman Road at about 8:30 p.m. and died at the scene. The Orleans Parish coroner's office will release the victim's name and cause of death.
By 9:30 p.m., police had cordoned off the Bella Plaza shopping center, where a body lay between two cars parked in front of a clothing store. Downman was blocked to southbound traffic.
A person was killed in a fatal stabbing Monday (Feb. 27) in the 7th Ward, police said. Officers responded to the scene near the intersection of North Claiborne Avenue and Columbus Street just before 9 a.m. They found the victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital where the victim later died died, according to a preliminary police report.
Authorities reported a suspect is in custody in connection with Saturday's deadly shooting on Prescott Road.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said Nicholas Matthews, 24, turned himself in just after 5 p.m. the day of the shooting. He just turned 24 on Monday.

Trans men and women of color are being killed and the mainstream media is doing all but ignore it, so we'll keep posting until someone starts to pay attention.
